1. Information we collect

When you send a request we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), city and project details. Project details include any text you type, the room you choose and, if you use the wainscot builder, your choices for tile, trim, height and layout.

We also record technical information with the request: your IP address, the date and time, the page you sent it from and any UTM parameters in the link that brought you to the site (source, medium, campaign, term and content).

2. How we use it

We use this information to reply to you, prepare estimates, schedule visits and work, and contact you by phone, text or email about your request.

3. Technologies on this site

The wainscot builder runs in your browser and sends nothing until you submit the estimate form. If you press the button to get a price for your wall, the readout of your choices is copied into the message field of the form, where you can edit it.

We use your browser's sessionStorage to remember the phone-number source and UTM parameters during your visit. It is cleared when you close the tab.

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We embed a Google Maps map on several pages and may display reviews through a Trustindex widget. These third parties may set their own cookies or collect usage data under their own policies.

4. Sharing

We share your request with the customer-relationship and messaging providers we use to receive and answer it. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we protect your information

The whole site is served over HTTPS and TLS. Requests are delivered to our CRM in encrypted form, with certificate verification. Lead files are kept outside public access. We validate and sanitize input on the server, send security headers with each page and limit staff access to what the work requires.

We collect only what we need. We do not ask for payment details or government IDs. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law, including California Civil Code section 1798.82.

6. Retention and your rights

We keep requests for up to 24 months. You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to opt out of further contact. We respond within 45 days. To make a request, use the contact details at the end of this page.

7. California privacy rights

Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Do Not Track: because there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, this site does not change how it collects information when it receives one (CalOPPA disclosure).

8. Text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your request. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Children under 13

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

The site links to and embeds third-party services such as Google. Their privacy practices are theirs, and we encourage you to read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
